- Sounds great, but it sure is homely
I just received our JVC box last night-- we purchased it to lull our five-week-old to sleep. It sounds super, and plays lullabies (on tape and on CD) flawlessly, but do look closely at the picture before you buy... blue-and-black-on-white is a bit much.

I'd absolutely buy it again, and the price is right, but I wouldn't plan on making it the centerpiece of your room.

- Good deal for the money
For the price this is a good unit. It is perfect for a bedroom size room, a little small for a living room. It sounds good and is easy to operate and has more features than I expected. Also includes a remote. A lot better sound quality than I expected from something so portable. Looks nice too.
