After comparing this product and Monster speaker cable, I can tell this Pheonix 12 gauge is better than the over-priced monster one, which trickily does not mark "guage". Pheonix 16 gauge speaker cable is als ogood for surround speakers.

Value for money, about sums it up. This cable is in no way inferior to 'branded' cables of 4x the cost, and can handle it's end in hi-current circuits like the sub extremely well too.

Thick, inexpensive 12 gauge cable that provides flawless sound. I noticed an improvement immediately after upgrading from the 18-20 gauge cables provided with my new home-theater-in-a-box. After reading extensively in major audio-visual forums, I came to understand spending three times as much for the big name brand made no sense. This is a great alternative.
