I just got this boombox and it is great right out of the box! You can not beat what you get for the price! I am glad i decided against listening to some of the reviews on here because i am really happy with this product!

I've been an XM Skyfi user for many many years. This is my second boom box (first with a CD). So far so good. It's nice to have the CD and radio capability in case my wife doesn't want to listen to G Gordon.

Freed up my older unit up to use as feed to my Amp.

Sound is very good for the format.

Literature says it plays MP3s. I haven't used it for that just yet.
No in put for Ipod. Does have output .. to feed stereo etc.

Of course it can run on D batteries .. life is ok.
