- A decent mic but rather useless
It's "plug-n-play" if you use Garageband 08. But it simply doesn't work with Logic 8. The instructions on the samsontech.com site are pre-Leopard and don't work. Even if you're running Tiger, their instructions are missing a step. I've tried everything. It's useless. If you want to use it in GB 08, it's fine. But if you want to do more than beginner's recording (like many Mac users), don't buy it. [...]. They got your $ so they don't care anymore.

This mic has been doing a very good job. I use it for my home studio, and this mic gives me a real good quality.

This mic works great... just remember to record in mono with it, not stereo. im working on an acoustic demo with mine... sounding great so far!
