- A Great Accessory for the Gym
The iRiver pops easily into the holder and stays there. I like the angle at which the iRiver faces while in the holder because it allows you to easily adjust the volume or change tracks without twisting it away from your arm to see the controls.

- Good, but not necessary
I ordered the IRiver MP3 for biking on the Katy Trail in Missouri. I mostly ride my Cannondale alone and the music is my company a lot.
I ordered the armband for convienience while riding - but soon discovered that the 3 rear pockets in my biking jerseys were well suited for the MP3 and permitted the wires to the headphones (Koss externals) to run up my back from the pocket eliminating more wires to the side and front.
The armband is a good item, but I like the rear pockets better.

This arm-band is surprisingly good. I initially got it for my boyfriend for his iRiver, but I was afraid it wouldn't fit his arms since he's very muscular. Surprisingly - it stretched enough and wasn't tight! He loves it. I thought there might be too much motion on mine when I run or use the eliptical, but no, it's fine.
