When I received this product I was a little upset that it did have some of the coating chipped off by the holes as another reviewer mentioned; however, it's purpose is not altered because of it. I love that the hooks can only go on at the notch in the metal because it makes the hooks very sturdy and they will never come off when you take a pot or pan. I put two up on an empty wall in my kitchen and it created a great focal point! Rating - nice You may wish to buy stainless steel screws with a pan head to cover the holes. As stated in other reviews, the area around the hole was worn away a little on both of mine. The pan head screws I bought covered it perfectly. These racks work great if you wish to hang the pots and pans on the wall rather than ceiling. I love them. Rating - Calphalon Wall Rack - so good I bought two of them! I have more pots than most people, since I like to choose between stainless and anodized depending on the task at hand. So I ended up buying two of these simple wall racks, installing them one over the other on an otherwise wasted wall space.
