Rating - Plantronics MX256-X1 review this product looks good on paper and it probably will work well, if it fits your ear properly. I have used ear-hook sets before, and was very pleased with an older ear-hook unit from Plantronics - but this one surprised me a little, having difficulty inserting over/in my ear. I will have to practice a little more but so far it is not working as quickly or simply as the older plantronics unit I had (which failed, requiring replacement). Rating - Barely audible I wanted a wired headset because all the bluetooth headsets I tried with my iPhone proved unreliable. That's probably more a problem with the iPhone than the headsets.s The design of the Plantronics is attractive but it is barely loud enough to be heard in the house, let alone in a car. The headset that came with the iPhone must be 4 or 5 time louder.
