You can't beat the convience of Corelle. They are durable and I don't have to worry about how the kids are handling the plates. They take a beating and always come out looking great. Rating - Great everyday family dishes Practical dishes for everyday heavy use. I don't like the "feel" of Corelle as much as ceramic, but they are infinitely practical and almost impossible to break. This pattern, in particular, has a bit more trendy "atomic vintage" feel to it. Dinner plates are a great size, although the salad plates are a bit smaller than your typical set.
