I haven't even had it a month and the casing on the plug just fell of. It still works but all the wires are showing, it only a matter of time before they come apart, them I won't be able to use it. I Would not recommend getting this product. I also contacted the site where I purchase it and they never responded as to a refund or exchange. Rating - Finding accessories It's great to find accessories like this one (that I didn't even know existed). I was also very pleased that it arrived in the mail in under 7 days. Rating - Works Fine This adapter works fine in my Samsung SGH A707 phone. It is unfortunate that Samsung designed the phone so that the same jack is used for power/data/music rather than separate standard jacks for these purposes. An external power supply cannot be used while the headset is being used (and draining battery power). This is a design flaw of the phone and does not reflect negatively on this adapter.
